AWCI - Conference 2026 - Fiji

As part of the 5 year AWCI strategic plan, we are taking the 2026 National Conference to Fiji!

Wonderful hospitality awaits you at the Fijian-owned overwater hotel at the Marriott, Momi Bay. Nestled on the western coast of Viti Levu, you can lounge on pristine lagoon beaches, relax in our three swimming pools, or rejuvenate at our award-winning Quan Spa.

Activities:

We have some truly great activities lined up like heading out to Cloud9 (see below for link), having the Fijian Drura rugby team come in and play some sevens rugby with us plus great speakers like Nemani Nadolo, former Crusaders rugby player, who is now an MC and speaker. 

Kids can enjoy the Turtles Kids Club, splash in the children’s pool, and embark on eco-adventures with our Kids Discovery Programs. World-class diving, surfing, and zip-lining awaits, or explore our private sandbar just minutes away. At the end of the day, retreat to your sanctuary—whether an overwater bure or a cozy guest room—each offering glimpses of paradise amidst tranquil Fijian beauty.

As we are in Fiji, the conference will take a different format :

1. The conference will be held just before the September school holidays allowing families to travel later and stay on into the break
2. The Conference will run from Wednesday evening through until the Saturday night Gala Dinner. So arrive Wednesday 23rd Sept 2026 and check-out Sunday 27th Sept. 
3. We will not be in conference sessions all day, every day. There will be a mix of half-day conference on Thursday and Friday with excursions and activities the other half day. 
4. The Conference cost includes conference sessions, lunch on conference days, Wednesday welcome function, a second dinner on either Thursday or Friday (tbc) and the Gala Dinner on Saturday night, plus breakfast. 
5. Partner cost includes Wednesday welcome function, a second dinner on either Thursday or Friday (tbc) and the Gala Dinner on Saturday night, plus breakfast. (when registering please select whether you are attending the conference sessions or attending as a partner)
6. Accommodation can be upgraded from a Queen or Twin room to a Beachside / Lagoonside Bure.  
7. We are talking with our partners and suppliers about additional excursion activities for all delegates however some of additional individual activities such as diving, surfing etc will be at individual cost.  
8. The Hotel has agreed to hold the accommodation rates for 3 days after the event if people want to stay on. We will put you in contact with the hotel if you wish to stay longer.
9. Coach transport to and from the venue will be supplied on Wednesday 23rd from airport to Marriott - and on Sunday 27th from Marriott to Airport.
10. A minimum 15% deposit needs to be paid upon booking. You can either pay the full amount now or spread the remaining cost (after the 15% deposit) through until July 2026.
11. When you register, you can select options for a ticket during the conference or a ticket and extended stay if you wish to book additional days at the venue.

Airfares :

We have secured Group rate discounts through Fiji airways from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. You are welcome to select these options when booking or secure your own separate flights.
